The 20-year play-by-play UFC commentator Mike Goldberg will be finishing his time with UFC and is calling his last event at UFC 207 this Friday, which will be main evented by Ronda Rousey vs. Amanda Nunes for the UFC Bantamweight Championship.

UFC President Dana White confirmed that Friday would be Goldberg’s last event with the company. White noted that they were negotiating for his replacement publicly. The only name that has been brought up is Jim Rome. White today said he hoped to reach a deal by July with the new announcer, who would work primarily with Joe Rogan, who WME-IMG wants to keep.

Goldberg had been the lead announcer on pay-per-views and FOX shows.
