As soon as the news was announced that Tessa Blanchard had been released from Impact Wrestling, the rumors of her heading to WWE circulated immediately.

It turns out that the immediate reaction wasn’t far off from the truth.

Over the weekend, reports started to surface from Sean Ross Sapp, Ryan Satin and others that WWE has major interest in bringing in Tessa Blanchard.

This came as a surprise to many due to her past conduct. There have been accusations against Tessa of racism, leaking results from tapings and having an overall bad attitude. The 3rd Generation star denied accusations against her of racism.

And she was fired for refusing to send in promos to Impact Wrestling recently.

However, we need to remember that Tessa Blanchard is only 24 years old. People of all ages make mistakes, but at an early age like 24, there is plenty of time to grow as a person to make sure those mistakes don’t happen again.

Look at how the career of Randy Orton has panned out. Another 3rd generation star who had loads of controversy & personal chaos in his 20s. Now? One of the all time greats…who just happened to wrestle in what many consider to be THE GREATEST WRESTLING MATCH EVER!

Let’s face it: WWE needs as many top level women wrestlers as they can get…and a wrestler the caliber of Tessa Blanchard could roll into NXT & become the champion in her first match.

or

WWE could humble Tessa in “typical WWE fashion” and have her lose a string of matches before gaining the momentum needed to make a championship run.

With speculation running rampant that there is no interest in Blanchard from All Elite Wrestling, the door is wide open for WWE to bring in the 2nd Generation star. It makes sense. Tessa would provide fresh matchups for wrestlers on all levels of the card.

What do you think? Should WWE sign Tessa Blanchard?
