Here we go again…
According to a report via Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Brock Lesnar is expected to defend his WWE Universal Championship against Roman Reigns once again at WWE SummerSlam.
The report claims that SummerSlam will finally be the event where Reigns defeats Lesnar and wins the Universal Championship and putting an end to this rivalry. Lesnar is expected to exit WWE afterwards, with rumors of his interest in another UFC run.
This news comes after there were rumors that WWE was also throwing around the idea of Seth Rollins to be the one to defeat Lesnar for the title at SummerSlam instead. WWE sees Rollins differently as of late due to the overwhelming fan support he’s built this year. It’s said that Rollins vs. Lesnar could be a backup if something doesn’t go as planned.
