In a report by PWInsider.com and followed up by SEScoops.com, it appears that WWE has finally decided to rebrand the Diva’s Division. It’s being reported that on the Raw after WrestleMania 32, WWE will officially announce that the division will now be known as the Women’s Division.
Not only that, but a new WWE Women’s Championship belt has already commissioned. According to SEScoops.com, the new Women’s Championship bares a strong similarity to the WWE World Heavyweight championship belt, but it’s mounted on a white leather strap and is smaller.
This is obviously a huge step in the right direction to change the culture of women’s wrestling in WWE. This Sunday at WrestleMania 32, Charlotte is going to defend her pink butterfly championship against Sasha Banks and Becky Lynch.
