It’s looking more and more like Samoa Joe will be making his WWE main roster debut the night after WrestleMania 32 on Raw according to our friends at The Wrestling Observer.

There are many ways that WWE could obviously debut Samoa Joe, and as always, plans can change, but it seems logical for his main roster debut to happen on that date. Personally, if I’m WWE, I give you Samoa Joe vs. AJ Styles on his first night on the main roster.

Joe is still set to compete in a #1 Contenders 2 out of 3 Falls match with Sami Zayn to determine who will face Finn Balor at NXT Takeover: Dallas, which was taped last night at Full Sail University. NXT treated this match as a huge deal; bringing out Michael PS Hayes, Sasha Banks, Larry Zbysko & Hideo Itami for a crowd shot. Turns out the match went nearly an hour!

Speaking of Zayn & Balor, it looks like Sami Zayn will be on the main roster full-time relatively soon as well to start a feud with Kevin Owens.

When it comes to Finn Balor, the word is that while he is more than ready to be called up, creative plans are in place for him to be the “face of NXT” moving forward. With the extended touring that the brand plans on doing in the future, it makes sense to have Balor remain one of the major draws of the brand.

As always, plans for all three individuals could change.
