With speculation and rumors running wild all day about Hulk Hogan‘s WWE status, WWE.com has announced that the immortal one has been “reinstated” into the WWE Hall of Fame after a 3-year “suspension.”

This news comes after there has been reports all day of Hulk Hogan being spotted in Cleveland and now in Pittsburgh according to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful.com, which is hosting WWE Extreme Rules later tonight at the PPG Paints Arena.

It’s unclear if Hogan will appear on the show or if he’ll just be backstage, but there seems to be so many moving parts to this story, that it would lead many to believe that WWE has something planned for Hogan tonight or on RAW tomorrow.

Here’s WWE’s statement:

“After a three-year suspension, Hulk Hogan has been reinstated into the WWE Hall of Fame. This second chance follows Hogan’s numerous public apologies and volunteering to work with young people, where he is helping them learn from his mistake. These efforts led to a recent induction into the Boys & Girls Clubs of America Alumni Hall of Fame.”

We’ll keep you posted as we learn more.
