According to PWInsider.com, WWE is updating their medical insurance policy for contracted talent. They informed all talent yesterday that starting February 21, 2016, random insurance provider checks will be done to make sure all information is accurate.

In May 2011, WWE started to require all talent to have their own personal medical insurance. However, this has nothing to do with medical issues taking place in the ring. WWE will still cover those as usual.

This is considered a major announcement because talent has been told that if their information isn’t up-to-date, they could become “unavailable for use.” They will likely give the talent notice to fix the issue before they’re sent home & taken off the road.

Also, this could effect WWE storylines if certain competitors are suddenly taken off the road to fix this issue.
