With the wrestling world still buzzing about the events of Wednesday night’s end to Dynamite, hopes, dreams and so much more have been racing through the heads of fans everywhere.

Dream matches, talent trade offs, inter branded segments and more seemed to be awaiting fans like presents on Christmas Day.

Impact Wrestling and AEW seemed to be headed for a war.

Sorry to be the grinch, but according to various sources and some new circulating reports, that will NOT be the case.

Here is the latest: Kenny Omega’s appearance on Impact will be a one time appearance. Omega is also scheduled for a promo on Wednesday’s Dynamite.

As far as Impact talent appearing for AEW, it is being said that only Impact Tag Champs Gallows and Anderson will be making a one time appearance for a match.

There is no word on who they will face.

As far as the Jon Moxley attacker angle, while there was speculation that it could be Kenta, and some IWC hope for Sami Callihan, another name has at least been mentioned for the role.

That name would be current free agent EC3.

As far as who was involved in the relationship, despite doing interviews on Thursday claiming it was them, it was NOT Matt and Nick Jackson. The deal was the brainchild of Omega, Don Callis, and even Chris Jericho. It is possible that the Bucks did the interviews as a way to keep the suspense and mystery around Omega building.

While it appears AEW has set themselves up to end the year strong, it does not appear fans will be getting the Christmas gifts they want as far as a crossover and invasion angle goes.
