After Holly Holm shook up the world of the UFC by defeating Ronda Rousey, fans have been wondering when and if there will be a rematch. On Thursday, fans finally got a definitive answer.

During an appearance on ESPN’s Mike & Mike show, UFC president Dana White confirmed that there will be a rematch between Ronda Rousey and new UFC Bantamweight Champion Holly Holm.

“Yeah, I think that if we didn’t make the rematch, me and Lorenzo should probably lose our promoters’ license if we didn’t make that rematch. Yeah, that fight’s going to happen. I don’t know when, but that’s the fight that will happen.”

Dana White also added:

“Ronda Rousey has gone undefeated, taken the sport to another level and was beating the best women in the world in fourteen seconds or thirty seconds, so she deserves a rematch. Holly agrees she deserves a rematch, and we’ll figure it out.”

Exactly when the rematch will happen is unclear, as Ronda Rousey is also scheduled to star in an upcoming remake of the movie,”Roadhouse.”
