Last night at Ring of Honor’s television tapings in Philadelphia, Mike Bennett and his wife, Maria Kanellis, reportedly finished their contracts with the company. Reports from PWInsider indicate that they couldn’t come to terms on a new contract.
Their departure was expected for quite a while as the duo has major appeal outside of Ring of Honor. They are likely done working for New Japan Pro Wrestling as well since their deal coincided with ROH.
Apparently, rumors are now circulating that the couple is heading to TNA in the New Year to help the launch on POP TV. They were telling friends backstage that they will be debuting.
