As of late, WWE CEO and Chairman Vince McMahon and Executive Vice President of Talent, Creative and Live Events Paul “Triple H” Levesque are reportedly having several big creative issues.

Most notably, according to the Wrestling Observer, Vince McMahon doesn’t believe that the current talent pool in NXT are “stars” and doesn’t think they can “draw” money on the main roster. This isn’t the first time we’ve heard a report like this.

In 2015, we reportedly heard that Triple H was very upset about Vince McMahon calling talent to the main roster, only to use them as enhancement talent. Most notably, Tyler Breeze, who Hunter didn’t want to bring up to the main roster, unless there was a 6-month plan for him. That has obviously fell through.

Additionally, there are reports that Triple H and Stephanie McMahon are worried that Shane McMahon could return to the corporate side of things, which would obviously result in less power for Hunter and Stephanie. Triple H is reportedly worried about Vince playing Shane off of him, to get what he wants, if Shane does assume a big role within creative. According to the Wrestling Observer, there has been a lot of heat between Vince and Hunter and it’s only getting worse.

Obviously, take this report with a grain of salt and keep in mind that Hunter and Vince have been known to butt heads on creative issues in the past.
