For several weeks, many fans have speculated that AJ Lee could be one of many past superstars to make their return at the first WWE all-female pay-per-view, “WWE Evolution.”

With rumors and reports running wild, the Wrestling Observer’s Dave Meltzer had this to say on a recent episode of Wrestling Observer Radio:

“Regarding this week’s rumors, the idea of A.J. Lee in the Evolution PPV would sound very difficult given the circumstances. As of two weeks ago, there was nothing to it and there were rumors, but it sounded like a very difficult deal. The whole situation with the lawsuit against her husband would seem to make it almost impossible even with the suit being settled. Stranger things have happened but this would be high on that list.”

One source told PWP Nation that Lee appearing at the pay-per-view is “virtually impossible.” From what we understand, it’s highly unlikely and all signs point to the two sides remaining apart.

The source also stated that even if WWE were to bring Lee in, it would be held VERY close to the vest and only a hand full of people would know about it.
