Former WWE United States Champion Rusev appeared to suffer some sort of leg injury during his match against Ryback at Tuesday night’s SmackDown television taping. He was assisted to the backstage area by officials after the match concluded.
PWInsider.com, as well as other multiple sources, is now reporting that Rusev suffered an ankle injury, and that the injury itself is indeed legitimate and not any kind of work. Below is a photo that has been circulating as of late showing Rusev in a wheelchair with crutches at an area airport.
