Last night, former WWE Cruiserweight Champion Neville was conspicuous by his absence.
Our Twitter Live Coverage & Periscope Post Show had numerous questions on where Neville was during the Lumberjack Match Main Event.

Rumors are circulating that Neville has requested his release from WWE. As of this writing, we don’t know whether this is true or not.

However, we do have some information thanks to Ryan Satin of ProWrestlingSheet.com:

  • According to Ryan Satin’s sources, Neville was initially scheduled to wrestle Enzo in the Cruiserweight Championship Lumberjack Match. Apparently, Neville was scheduled to lose to Enzo.
  • Neville apparently walked out before Raw went on the air, which caused a change in plans. Kalisto ended up taking on Enzo & winning the WWE Cruiserweight Championship.
