Multiple sources have told Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated that Dean Malenko has quit WWE.
The former WCW United States Champion has quit the company after 8 years as a backstage road agent & producer.
Malenko is largely considered one of the greatest technical wrestlers in the history of the business; competing in multiple classic matches with the likes of Eddie Guerrero, Chris Benoit, and most notably, his feud with Chris Jericho in WCW.
There hasn’t been a reason given for Malenko’s departure yet, but we will do whatever we can to figure how why he has left WWE.
