UPDATE (7/15/18 — 4:03 PM EST):

According to a tweet from Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful.com, Daniel Bryan has reportedly signed a new deal with WWE and is expected to remain with the company for the foreseeable future.

Originally, the report cited the deal was signed for 2 years, but details emerged later that the two sides agreed to a 3-month extension, with the 2-year contract option on the table.

Offering a conflicting report, Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter later stated that Bryan has not signed a new deal and nothing has changed on either side.

We’ll provide more details as they become available.

During a recent interview with The Business Times, Daniel Bryan spoke on a number of different topics, including his current in-ring style, giving advice to younger talent and more.

But the topic that is catching the eyes of many is the comments made about the possibility of re-signing with WWE once his contract expires in the Fall of 2018.

Here’s what he had to say:

“The wrestling world is an interesting world right now. But I love working with WWE and my wife (Brie Bella) is a part of WWE, and so there’s a good chance I’ll re-sign.”
