Tonight on Monday Night Raw, Stephanie McMahon made her return to WWE, after not being on TV since WrestleMania 32.
In that segment, she went toe-to-toe with Shane McMahon and revealed that Vince McMahon will be at WWE Payback to reveal who will be in-charge of WWE Raw going forward after the pay-per-view.
The speculation going around the internet is that this could be the start of a possible brand split where Shane McMahon will run Raw and Stephanie McMahon will run SmackDown (or vis-versa.) Also, it’s being said that this could lead to a possible power struggle storyline between Stephanie McMahon and Shane McMahon, which would apparently lead to a match at SummerSlam for control of the company between Shane vs. Triple H.
Obviously, this is all speculation and simply talk that’s going around within the company and online.
