Wrestling fans rejoice!
Much to the surprise of many fans, WWE has confirmed that they will move NXT Takeover during WrestleMania 35 weekend from Saturday Night to Friday Night, according to a report taken from WrestleZone.com.
This news is important because this means Ring of Honor and New Japan Pro-Wrestling’s co-branded pay-per-view will now be running unopposed on Saturday night from Madison Square Garden in New York City. Takeover was set to take place at the Barclay’s Center, in-turn going head-to-head with the MSG show.
All of this comes after WWE reportedly tried and failed to restrict the ROH/NJPW show from happening in the first place.
