After the somewhat surprising (given how fast it was) split between Adnan Virk and WWE earlier this week, speculation quickly grew as to who the next lead announcer for Raw would be. It appears we now have our answer.
According to multiple reports, former UFC and Bellator announcer Jimmy Smith will be replacing Virk on Raw.
It had been reported that Smith was already working with Michael Cole in preparation for a commentary role with the company. Smith was also heavily featured on the recent Prime Target feature for Karrion Kross vs. Finn Balor.
