According to Cassidy Haynes of BodySlam.net, Matt Riddle has been suspended from WWE for six weeks following his reported 2nd violation of the WWE Wellness Policy. On television, WWE wrote Riddle off of RAW last week when Solo Sikoa dished out an epic beatdown to The King of Bros.

The first violation would have taken place this past Summer when the Seth Rollins vs. Matt Riddle match at SummerSlam was cancelled. Wild considering that the word was that Riddle was injured or WWE decided to “change directions.”

The story on BodySlam.net states that Riddle WILL be attending rehab. It is interesting to note that WWE has changed their marijuana policy for wrestlers in recent years. They used to dish out a fine when there was a positive marijuana test. Haynes notes that WWE does not even test for it. It has not been confirmed what Riddle tested positive for; you can read all of the rumors on Twitter.

WWE sells a “420 RIDDLE” t-shirt. This isn’t for weed. I’m not judging Riddle for whatever he may do in his free time. I hope he doesn’t have a serious problem, that’s all. He’s an extremely talented professional wrestler; one of the best in the world.

Haynes also notes that Riddle has likely already started rehab, as many programs run for 30 days.

We wish Riddle the best in his rehab and eventual return to the ring!
