We here at Pro Wrestling Powerhouse and the NEW AND IMPROVED Cool Wrestling News are happy to report that it is happened: It has been announced after years of fan outcry and speculation that the WWE Hall of Fame will be seeing the induction of OWEN!

Yes Owen Wilson will be inducted into the Hall of Fame next year. The actor most famous for his roles in well acclaimed comedy movies (unintentional comedy or not) has apparently been in talks for an induction since 2000 with the deal apparently having been kept under close wraps to prevent a leak of information. We approached Owen Wilson for comment but unfortunately all we got was Vince Vaughn who told this reporter “I’m happy to see that he is being inducted into the wrestling Hall of Fame. He has done so much for the industry” Hang on a minute…it’s a sports entertainment Hall of Fame Vince you silly boy you…don’t worry you’re not the first one to make that mistake.

With Owen being inducted into the Hall next year he is expected to headline the class of 2016 having made more money than most of the other current Hall of Famers combined. Reports that WWE intends to put him on the road to promote his induction from now up until next year’s WrestleMania are currently unconfirmed although we can confirm that Vince McMahon has been aiming to get Wilson involved in an angle with Triple H over who has the biggest plane on their face. It is also expected that Wilson will be starting a WWE Network exclusive show with Australian actor Manu Bennett called The Cast Away Wilson Island.

WWE Boss, having recently just saved millions of victims of the Nepal Earthquake with his incredible super powers, Vince McMahon told PWP and CWN that “I know of the demand to see this potential Hall of Fame induction and after aggressive negotiations and listening to fan response you must understand that I am excited to be able to confirm this” And there you have it he does listen. You wanted Owen in the Hall of Fame you’re getting Owen in the Hall of Fame.

What are your thoughts on this feel good story? Would Vince Vaughn also be inducted? Why hasn’t Stephen Amell not hosted Raw yet? Is WWE asking for trouble? Please let us know except for that last one because companies should be allowed to get away with murder.
