According to Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler (known together as FTR), they received some “heat” from the All Elite Wrestling roster for their appearance on The Jim Cornette Experience Podcast. The duo recently appeared on Inside The Ropes to discuss this, among other topics.
Harwood explained that they arrived at the AEW hotel where all of the wrestlers were staying. They described it as an “awkward silence” when they walked into the room.

It’s no secret that Jim Cornette hasn’t had the nicest things in the world to say about AEW & many members of their roster.
On the flipside, FTR has the kind of old school, traditional wrestling style that Cornette prefers. He’s been a huge fan of their work and an appearance on his podcast shouldn’t be a surprise to anyone.
Also, keep in mind that FTR have talked openly multiple times about their love of “working the fans” so who knows if they really have heat or not. During the interview, they also expressed loving this time of their career where their options are open. They haven’t signed a long–term contact with AEW, and they don’t know if they will.
