In a recent video and article by Forbes.com, they revealed WWE’s highest paid performers in the year of 2015.
The overall sum was made up of base salary, bonuses and outside income. Forbes stated that they comprised this list off of their own personal sources and reports WWE has filed with the SEC (Services and Exchange Commission).
Here’s the list:
#10. Dean Ambrose – $1.1 million
Forbes noted that Ambrose wrestled and performed the most this past year, including TV tapings, live events and other commitments.
#9. Kane – $1.3 million
According to Forbes, Kane’s seniority has earned him a very good base pay, which makes up most of his overall income.
#8. Big Show – $1.5 million
Similar to Kane, Big Show has been around for a long time, so his base pay is very big, which is one of the reasons why he’s still around.
#7. Undertaker – $2.0 million
Even with his limited amount of appearances, the Undertaker’s base pay and bonuses make up a majority of his overall income.
#6. Roman Reigns – $2.1 million
Similar to Ambrose, Forbes stated that Reigns isn’t too far behind Ambrose with overall bookings in 2015.
#5. Seth Rollins – $2.4 million
Forbes stated that even thought Rollins was out for the back end of 2015, Rollins received bonuses on top of his base pay because he was in the main event of almost every pay-per-view in 2015.
#4. Randy Orton – $2.7 million
According to Forbes, Orton’s overall pay has gone down from last year due to the time he’s missed, but his base pay is why he’s still so high on this list.
#3. Triple H – $2.8 million
Between his time in the office and the ring, Triple H has grossed a good amount in 2015.
#2. Brock Lesnar – $6.0 million
Last year, Lesnar’s contract was expiring around WrestleMania, which landed the Beast Incarnate a big contract for years to come.
#1. John Cena – $9.5 million
Forbes stated that due to his seniority, position in the company and merchandise sales, Cena’s numbers will continue to grow, as he’s now begun a career in TV and film.
