Yesterday, we shared a report from PWInsider.com that the scheduled Finn Balor vs. Drew McIntyre contest for WWE TLC tonight had been cancelled.
It turns out that this report is likely false. WWE is still promoting the match & Finn competed at a live event in Bakersfield last night.
In case you missed the original news, Finn had been out of action with an undisclosed illness for a number of days. This illness also was rumored to have hit a number of WWE performers & employees as well. Some matches were considered “in jeopardy” going into this weekends TLC event.
Our apologies for the confusion on social media due to this erroneous report from PWInsider. As always, we will post retractions when we get it wrong. And this is no exception.
