In an absolute shocker, Jay White defeated Kenny Omega to win the IWGP US Title.

Jay White had a much better showing here against Omega. The story was Omega had Jay beat on several occasions, but played around too much. It ultimately came back on him and Jay got the victory with the Bladerunner.

In the post match, Bullet Club Member Adam Page came out and grabed the IWGP US Title to stake his claim to challenge the new Champion Jay White, but Omega took the title from Adam as he wanted to respectfully give the belt to Jay.

Cody came out and stirred the pot. He argued with Omega saying that he stole Adam’s moment. Jay left the ring with the title to celebrate. Omega apologized to Adam and they hug it out. Everyone left the ring and when its just Cody and Omega left, Cody turned on Omega.

Cody attacked Omega and nailed him with the CrossRoads. Adam Page then joins in on the beatdown while Marty appears to be against what is happening.

While all this is going on Okada is on commentary smiling. Cody gets a chair to finish the job, but then Kota Ibushi showed up for the save and the crowd went apeshit.

When its over, Omega and Ibushi embraced and reunited as The Golden Lovers.
