Well, Chris Jericho had quite a night on Twitter during the Royal Rumble event yesterday, where he took shots at WWE, along with WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar.

In a tweet that was later deleted, Jericho said:

“Intimidation and fear goes a LONG way in our business guys. But let’s be honest, @BrockLesnar needs to pull up his pants and lose the gut… the dream is over dude. I don’t play by the script… @wwe @AEWrestling.”

It’s unclear what triggered this tweet, but many believe it was due to the clip that’s been circulating from WWE 24 WrestleMania: New Orleans documentary.

In the clip, Lesnar is seen upset and throwing the Universal Championship at Vince McMahon after returning through the curtain.

There is history between Jericho and Lesnar, as they had a backstage incident at SummerSlam in 2016, where Jericho didn’t like the way Lesnar “took liberties” in his match with Randy Orton. Orton was busted open with an elbow to the head, which was apparently part of the match, but Jericho wasn’t aware.
