Once again, Brock Lesnar is making waves about the financial aspect of his career. Earlier this week, Dana White announced that Brock has retired from MMA & wouldn’t be fighting UFC Heavyweight Champion Daniel Cormier.

While the reason remained unclear for this breaking development, Dave Melzter reported in The Wrestling Observer that Lesnar had requested a guaranteed paycheck for his fight against Cormier. UFC pays a percentage of their pay-per-view buys, which is rumored to be structured differently due to the ESPN deal. Bottom Line: Lesnar & UFC couldn’t come to an agreement on payment terms.

The talks have been ongoing between Lesnar & the UFC for months…and it has also been reported that Lesnar entered the USADA drug testing pool. Apparently Lesnar even submitted multiple samples to USADA.

It remains to be seen if something will be worked out in the future between Lesnar & UFC.

Also, Lesnar has been advertised for WWE’s return to Saudi Arabia in June.
