Bobby Lashley is the WWE WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION.

At WrestleMania Backlash, he will walk into his toughest challenge to date. Two colossal former champions who are out for revenge on the “All Mighty One.”

Lashley has been nothing short of phenomenal since capturing the WWE title in March and according to SportsBettingDime.com, Raw would benefit from having Lashley run with the title for a bit longer hence their favorite to win the match.

Drew McIntyre, the former WWE Champion, was expected by many to regain his championship at WrestleMania. However, WWE understood the levity of the moment for Bobby Lashley’s first journey to the top of the mountain. A loss at WrestleMania would have been catastrophic.

The same can be said for WrestleMania Backlash.

Have you noticed that I haven’t mentioned Braun Strowman yet? I’m not sure which way WWE will take this, but I’m almost suspecting Braun to turn heel and join The Hurt Business. Probably not, as his history with Lashley is long and brutal.

However, it would be DIFFERENT and could freshen up The Monster Among Men with a new career path.

I’m not sure what WWE decides to do with Drew McIntyre right now. It wouldn’t surprise me if they gave the former champion a few weeks off after WrestleMania Backlash. McIntyre has carried Monday Night RAW through the entirety of The Pandemic Era. He can return in the future, hopefully as a surprise, to continue his path back to the championship.

These three men are set to collide in one of the LARGEST Triple Threat Matches for the WWE Championship in history! At a combined weight of 882 pounds, WWE must be ready to reinforce the ring at the critically acclaimed WWE THUNDERDOME! (I do think we MAY see a ring implosion here.)

Don’t miss WrestleMania Backlash, Sunday, May 16, beginning at 7 ET/4 PT, exclusively on Peacock in the United States and WWE Network everywhere else.
