According to PWInsider.com, WWE Superstar Paige was seen backstage at WWE Monday Night Raw this week.
The report states that the reason for Paige’s arrival is to meet with top WWE officials and medical team to discuss future plans and her ongoing neck injury. Paige has not been cleared by WWE doctors to return to the ring at this time.
After her meeting, Paige reportedly talked with some friends and colleagues and left before the show was over and was picked up by her boyfriend Alberto El Patron. Paige has been frustrated with her dealings with the company over the last year or so, as she feels she’s being treated unfairly, especially after her multiple wellness policy violations.
But, it’s being said that the company is still very interested in keeping Paige on the main roster and in an active role on TV. WWE feels that their women’s division on both shows lacks depth and that Paige is a well-known, marketable star that can help the RAW or SmackDown LIVE women’s divisions.
Her timetable for a return is still unknown.
