WWE Superstar Adam Rose, real name Ray Leppan has been released from the Hillsborough County, Florida jail at 4:10pm EST. A judge ruled that a restraining order against his wife wouldn’t be needed after she made a plea earlier today.
It was his wife who originally called the police and which got him charged with tampering with a witness and battery domestic violence. Leppan already has abusive behavior against his wife dating back to March, although the judge was begged by his wife to not give him a restraining order as they have a special needs child. Ray Leppan and his wife were involved in an argument about the state of their marriage when he grabbed her face with his hands and pulled her close to his face as he screamed at her.
Leppan’s lawyer is arguing that his actions were “not aggressive or painful” but “more of a passionate, ‘Hey, let’s talk about this’” situation.
He paid a $1,000 bond, which was $500 for the misdemeanor domestic battery and $500 for the felony tampering with a witness.
Leppan will be back in court in June. As of this moment, Leppan is still suspended by WWE.
