PWP Nation’s Caden Moran details six things we learned from the March 11th, 2019 edition of Monday Night RAW

The post-Fastlane episode of Monday Night RAW is in the books, and it wasn’t a bad show. As we move on toward Wrestlemania, storylines continued to progress and things became a little more clear surrounding the red brand’s top stars.

Wrestlemania is 26 days away and it is starting to pick up fast judging from last night’s episode of RAW. Here are six things we learned from last night.

#6 – The Revival have their Wrestlemania challengers

Perhaps this has been obvious, but last night made it just a little more clear. Aleister Black and Ricochet will battle The Revival at Wrestlemania.

The new team of Black and Ricochet have been on a tear since making their way to WWE’s main roster, and it should all come to fruition on the biggest stage of the year. The team of Bobby Roode & Chad Gable shouldn’t be involved with the RAW Tag Team titles this time as a pure tag team match between Black & Ricochet and The Revival needs to happen.

Whether or not Black and Ricochet walk out as champions doesn’t really matter. What does matter is that The Revival have their Wrestlemania challengers right in front of them.

#5 – Finn Balor will bring The Demon to New York

We have a new Intercontinental Champion in the name of Bobby Lashley. Yes, it’s unfortunate, but it might be leading to a bigger moment at Wrestlemania. If Finn Balor does get his rematch for the title in April, expect Balor to be bringing an old friend to MetLife Stadium. Expect Balor to be bringing The Demon.

We haven’t seen The Demon from Finn Balor since Summerslam of last year. Having Finn bring back his popular alter-ego to Wrestlemania would be a great way to open the show and to give Balor a Wrestlemania moment.

#4 – Batista should be kept away until Wrestlemania

Batista got what he wanted, so he should stay away until Wrestlemania.

There is no reason to see Batista from now until April, because it fits his character. Batista only showed up because he wanted something. He wanted the attention of Triple H and he got it. He wanted a Wrestlemania match with Triple H and he got it. Batista got everything that he wanted, so why keep bringing him back?

Triple H and Batista will go one on one in a No Holds Barred match at Wrestlemania and it should be a fun match to watch. However, to keep it a little bit more interesting, keep Batista away.

#3 – Dean Ambrose was finally allowed to be Dean Ambrose

Last night on RAW appeared that it could be the last time we ever see Dean Ambrose in a WWE ring. If it was the last time, it was a great way to see what Dean Ambrose is really all about.

Ambrose took on Drew McIntyre in the main event in a Falls Count Anywhere match. Dean has always been a fan of the extreme, and when given an extreme situation, he is one of the best in the world. Dean Ambrose was allowed to finally be himself last night, and in what could be his last main event for WWE, it was a nice sight to see.

Dean Ambrose is on his way out and we just have to accept that as fact. However, if this was our last memory of Ambrose, it was a nice final memory.

#2 – There is only one worthy opponent for Kurt Angle

Kurt Angle announced that his match at Wrestlemania will be his final match. New York will be the final time we see the WWE Hall of Famer in the ring, and there is only one opponent for the Olympic gold medalist: John Cena.

Kurt Angle was John Cena’s very first opponent in WWE, so it would actually mean something if Cena was Angle’s last opponent in WWE. Cena was the one to induct Angle into the WWE Hall of Fame, so it all makes sense.

If John Cena is going to be at Wrestlemania, then I think he would be the right choice to face Kurt Angle in his last match in a WWE ring.

#1 – We are finally seeing the real Drew McIntyre

For months, Drew McIntyre has been becoming a lost soul within WWE. However, judging from last night, it appears that we are finally seeing the true Drew McIntyre.

McIntyre has always had the appeal of being a top guy within WWE, and especially Monday Night RAW. Last night, before defeating and brutalizing Dean Ambrose, he viciously attacked Roman Reigns. Drew has put a target on Roman’s back, and it appears that he intends to take out “The Big Dog” once and for all.

If last night was any indication, Wrestlemania will give us Roman Reigns versus Drew McIntyre, and it should be awesome. McIntyre was given a huge spot last night and he delivered on all counts. Wrestlemania should be the true coming out party for the “Scottish Psychopath“.

Monday Night RAW was a fun show and it helped clear up certain questions and storylines. Wrestlemania is right around the corner, so expect more fireworks in the weeks to come.
