A few weeks ago on SmackDown LIVE, WWE “debuted” a new character La Luchadora. The first time around, it was Becky Lynch in a match with WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss. But since then, the masked figure has returned with her identity unknown.
According to the Wrestling Observer, the person playing the role of La Luchadora is Deanna Perazzo, who is currently an enhancement talent in WWE NXT. Obviously, plans are not for Perazzo to play this character for much longer, as it’s being said that Mickie James will eventually be revealed as the masked wrestler.
The report states that plans are to have Mickie James and Becky Lynch as the top women’s feud from SmackDown LIVE going into WrestleMania 33. It’s being said that the Women’s title from SmackDown will either stay on Alexa Bliss for a potential feud with Nikki Bella or Bliss will drop it to Lynch before WrestleMania.
Obviously, all this information can change, as it’s been known to do so as we approach WrestleMania.
