According to PWTorch.com, WWE has already signed two performers from the WWE Network’s Cruiserweight Classic competition.

It’s being reported that the two wrestlers that have been signed are former New Japan Pro-Wrestling star Kota Ibushi and former CMLL star Gran Metalik (formerly known as Máscara Dorada).

Additionally, the report states that WWE is also eyeing several other talents like Zack Sabre Jr.Cedric Alexander, Lince Dorado, Jack Gallagher and Akira Tozawa, all of whom would have to first finish up all of their independent dates prior to signing if offered contracts.

It’s expected that WWE is going to sign several more talents to replenish NXT due to the upcoming draft split.
