WWE Reportedly Considering AJ Styles vs. Undertaker for World Title at Royal Rumble

According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com, WWE is “heavily discussing” the idea of the current WWE World Champion AJ Styles feuding with the returning Undertaker to lead to a match at next year’s Royal Rumble event.

It’s being said that the Undertaker will be working as a member of the main roster from now until WrestleMania 33, so WWE feels like Styles vs. Undertaker would be a big match to help sellout the Alamodone in San Antonio, Texas, which seats roughly 72,000 people. WWE will be returning to the arena for the first time in 20 years.

Internally, WWE will be looking to stake the card for the show to hopefully sell out the show, which is why both Brock Lesnar and Goldberg will be featured in the Rumble match this year, along with big names on the rest of the card, like the Undertaker.

At this moment, that this report with a grain of salt.
