Impact Wrestling released the above video today of Alberto El Patron relinquishing his newly won World Championship.
The video shows Patron in a meeting with Bruce Prichard & Dutch Mantell. Prichard requests that Patron relinquish the championship back to former champion Bobby Lashley. Patron refuses until Prichard asks him what his father would think.
Alberto reacts angrily at first, but then reluctantly hands over the championship under the condition that he receive a match with Bobby Lashley. Mantell tells Patron that it isn’t up to him, it’s up to Lashley.
