Update on Potential WrestleMania 33 Matches

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE seems to have a general idea of the full WrestleMania 33 match card. The report states that the following matches is what’s currently on the table as favorites:

  • Brock Lesnar vs. Goldberg
  • Big Show vs. Shaquille O’Neal
  • Triple H vs. Seth Rollins
  • The Undertaker vs. Roman Reigns
  • Kevin Owens vs. Chris Jericho
  • Bray Wyatt vs. Randy Orton

It should be noted that the report states that it’s possible that Orton could win the Rumble match, which would lead to Wyatt winning the WWE World Title at the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view and making their match for the World Championship. As for the rest of the card, for the Raw Women’s Championship, there is talk right now that it will be a fatal 4-way between Charlotte Flair vs. Sasha Banks vs. Bayley vs. Nia Jax. On the SmackDown LIVE Women’s side, reports state that we’ll see Alexa Bliss defending her Women’s Championship against Nikki Bella. Also, it’s being reported that Becky Lynch will go one-on-one with Mickie James.

There is no word yet on plans for AJ Styles or John Cena. It’s very possible that they could be pitted against each other one final time at WrestleMania. Please note that plans can always change and take this report with a grain of salt, as there is still a lot of time between now and WrestleMania 33. Obviously, the booking of the Royal Rumble pay-per-view will begin to lay the ground work for the WrestleMania 33 card.
