NXT General Manager William Regal made a bombshell announcement at the latest set of NXT Television Tapings.

There will be a Ladder Match at NXT Takeover: New Orleans featuring 5 competitors to crown the first ever NXT North American Champion. During the tapings, it was announced that EC3 will be the first competitor that will take part in this match.
