This week on WWE Monday Night RAW, Bobby Lashley was seen turning heel and attacking Kevin Owens after their match. During the beatdown, Lashley focused on Owens’ knee, which he had been selling for the entire night.
Since the segment, many have speculated if the injury being reported by WWE.com is legitimate and if WWE used this segment as a way to get Owens off TV.
According to John Pollock of Post Wrestling, the segment was not only to turn Lashley heel, but to get Owens off TV to give him some time off to deal with a nagging knee injury, which reportedly requires minor surgery. In an update, Pollock stated that the timetable for Owens’ return is unknown.
There is a possibility that the injury could be more serious than expected. We will have more as we know it.
