All Elite Wrestling star Sammy Guevara is under fire for some past comments he has made in regards to wanting to “rape” Sasha Banks. The comments an indefensible and were brushed over very quickly in this short clip from an interview in January 2016.
Interviewer: Sasha Banks vs. Becky Lynch…Charlotte beat them both up.
Sammy Guevara: “Bro, Sasha Banks…oh my God. When I was at the WWE last week, I wanted to just go fucking rape that woman.”

As of this writing, there has been no statement from AEW or Guevara.
Some fans are brushing over this like it was a joke, and while the context of the comment doesn’t come off threatening, people are arguing that this is never OK.
