Earlier this week, there was a rumor that Ricochet was on the move to WWE because he stopped taking booking dates past June, which is when WWE’s Global Cruiserweight Series is scheduled to tape.
But yesterday, he debunked that rumor and tweeted about the reports:
Okay, guys listen. I will NOT be in the Global Cruiserweight Tournament.
One reason, I’ll be in Japan winning BOSJ. Again.

Although it appears that Ricochet won’t be involved in the Cruiserweight series, according to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer, Ricochet has been on WWE’s radar for some time now and there is a strong chance that he’ll end up with WWE by the end of the year.
