According to a report via ProWrestlingSheet.com, WWE officials are not happy with the lumbering big man, Big Cass after his segment on SmackDown LIVE from last week during the go-home show for WWE Backlash.

In the segment, Big Cass brings out a little person dressed up like Daniel Bryan. Apparently, the segment called for Cass to deliver a big boot to the Bryan impersonator and stand tall with the segment ending, but Cass went off script and continued to attack the fake Daniel Bryan with rapid punches and slaps.

The report claims that Cass was fighting officials backstage about the segment, wanting to go further than just a big boot to get more heat for his actual match against Daniel Bryan. Apparently Cass went as far as talking to Vince McMahon privately about the segment, but even McMahon shot him down.

After this segment, WWE officials backstage were reportedly livid about Cass going off script and he is now reportedly in “hot water” according to the report by PWS. Some believe his absence on this week’s edition of SmackDown LIVE has something to do with that as well.

Cass also lost clean to Daniel Bryan at Backlash via submission.
