As many already know, WWE has been dealing with controversy surrounding their upcoming WWE Crown Jewel event, set to take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on November 2nd, 2018. The controversy comes after the death of journalist Jamal Khashoggi, who was in Saudi Arabian custody during the time of his death. The country of Turkey has publicly stated that they believe Saudi Arabia is responsible for his death.

Since the news broke, WWE has been pressured by United States officials and fans to cancel the event and back out of its deal with Saudi Arabia.

According to TheWrap.com, a decision on the location of Crown Jewel might be coming as soon as this week.

The report claims that the country of Turkey will be making their investigation findings public this week and it’s being said that WWE will wait for the findings to be made public before making a decision on the location of WWE Crown Jewel.

Tickets for Crown Jewel were scheduled to go on sale last Friday, but never did.
