According to a report by SI.com’s Justin Barrasso, former WWE World Champion Rey Mysterio is set to move on from Lucha Underground, as his contract expires after Season Three. The report states that Mysterio is being actively targeted by Global Force Wrestling and WWE to a sign a deal.
Season three of Lucha Underground is set to end in September, so it’s possible that Mysterio isn’t with GFW or WWE until early 2018.
