During an episode of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer revealed that current Bullet Club member “Hangman” Adam Page was offered a WWE contract and turned it down.

Meltzer didn’t quite clarify when the deal was offered, but it’s speculated that it was extended sometime this Summer. Page reportedly turned down the offer to remain in New Japan Pro-Wrestling and Ring of Honor with his fellow Bullet Club members.

Some are speculating that it was offered to Page weeks before “All In.”

Meltzer alluded to this when talking about the segment the group played into on this week’s episode of “Being The Elite,” in which Page received a gift.

The package contained boots with a note that read the following:

“If you want to be an assassin, be more cerebral. – H.”

It’s been well documented that WWE has been after all members of the Bullet Club, especially the core members, which includes Page.
