Predictions With Beef: Survivor Series ’17

You want MORE predictions?

Well okay!

Back with part II of the Survivor Series Weekend Predictions. NXT TakeOver: War Games was one of the best TakeOver shows to date, so the main roster has some BIG shoes to try and fill. Crazy how that works, right?

Enzo Amore Vs. Kalisto- Cruiserweight Championship

Beef– The only title on the line, but i’m okay with that. I love the playup with Raw vs Smackdown. I would have loved to see Kalisto carry the title in, and defend against a Smackdown Cruiserweight- maybe a Chad Gable or Sin Cara. None the less, this is what we get. I love Enzo, I’ve been a huge fan since arriving on Raw (before then, but I’ve really been on the Certified G Bandwagon and backing him hardcore). I love the Heel Enzo, and it all makes sense. That said, there is too much talent on 205 Live to let him continue to hold the title. Enzo may fit in the weight class, but he doesn’t fit, stylistically. If they want 205 to survive (no pun intended) they need to highlight the high flying style. Give me Kalisto here, for the title.

Winner and new champion: Kalisto

Crazy Bill(CB)– I don’t see it that way, not yet at least. Should Kalisto win? Probably, but Enzo is drawing to 205 Live. With rumors of Neville’s return eminent, I could see him getting his comeuppance against Enzo.  Give him a shot against The Miz, let him relinquish the Cruiserweight Title, 205 Live Tournament…. That’s another article though.

Winner: Enzo Amore

IC Champion: The Miz vs US Champion: Baron Corbin

Beef– I love the smack talk on Social Media. It really makes it feel real, and part of me wonders how much of it is. Miz remembers what its like, coming to WWE from a different world, and being ostracized. Maybe he sees himself in Corbin. Regardless, Corbin has had his chops handed to him over Social Media, and Miz has proven why he is one of the best parts of Raw, again and again. So of course, Miz Wins right? To quote Lee Corso, Not so fast my friend. Corbin’s on a nice little run. They are clearly high on him right now (again), and prepping him for a run as a Main eventer. Miz stands to gain nothing from beating Corbin, Corbin stands all to gain. Give me Baron Corbin, as he out heels the Miz here.

Winner: US Champion Baron Corbin.

CB– You know, that’s a great way to look at it. Obviously Miz is the better heel here, but he really doesn’t have much to gain. Bragging about beating Corbin would accomplish nothing because that’s just a generic heel promo, and The Miz is above that. The social media promos from The Miz have been nothing short of perfect. I could see him giving his all and, after 10+ years, put the young gun over.

Winner: US Champion Baron Corbin

RAW Tag Team Champions: The Bar vs Smackdown Live Tag Team Champions: The Usos

Beef– The Bar will start the trend of Raw winning at Survivor Series (I mean they do call it the A Show!). I think one of the Usos (dont remember which, sorry) being hurt plays a factor in them not winning, but I believe that It was probably meant to be from the get-go. I love the Bar. I think they have a lot of Story yet to tell, and have been one of the most entertaining parts of Raw. I think this will be a great match.

Winners: RAW Tag Team Champions The Bar

CB– I can’t assume what position every match goes on, but I think this will either open the show, or it’s going to be 1 to 1 and this match will break the first tie of the night. The Bar is great, no doubt about it, but The Usos are easily the best tag team in the WWE. They are the best they have ever been. Rumor has it that there’s an injury, but they’ll still need to get through it to drop those titles if the injury is bad enough. This can easily be 50/50.  Vince loves big guys, but he creams over The Rock who is related to The Usos….

Winners: Smackdown Live Tag Team Champions: The Usos

5-on-5 Elimination Match: Raw Women vs Smackdown Women

Beef– It’s not even close. Raw wins going away. You look at the talent on the Raw pool and the talent on Smackdown and there’s no comparison. And as much as I hate Foxy being captain, I think she gets her comeuppances here and eats the only pinfall for the Raw women. A much more interesting question is who is the fifth Smackdown Woman. Sure, it could be Nattie. But that’d be boring. Could it be Paige? Could it be Nikki Bella? (Gosh I hope not) Could it be an NXT Call up? Or a Mae Young Tourney contender? Could it be Ronda Rousey? I mean, it’ll probably be Nattie, but let’s all get our hopes up for some big huge surprise, only to be reminded that Vince is still in charge. Like I said, Raw women win.

Winners: Team Raw. Survivors: Sasha Banks, Bayley, Nia Jax, and Asuka.

CB– I can’t back Team Smackdown on this one. Charlotte was their only real hope. Becky will have a strong showing, but they do have a great opportunity here: the 5th member. If it’s Natalya, I’m sure no one will be surprised, but with Cena coming back for the show, I wouldn’t be shocked if Nikki Bella is the 5th member and takes out Bayley or Sasha. Either way, the outcome is easy to see, in my opinion. Also, I see this one starting the show.

Winners: Team RAW

RAW Woman’s Champion: Alexa Bliss vs Smackdown Live Woman’s Champion: Charlotte

Beef– What a moment on Smackdown, huh? Naitch making his return to TV, and Sharing a special (and monumental) win with his Daughter. She has now held 4 Womens titles in WWE, a feat no one else will ever do. ( I guess Paige, AJ Lee, and Nikki Bella stand a chance….but…come on.) And what better way to build a nice heel run with Bliss than having her capitalize on all that Momentum and beat Charlotte? I think Bliss’s run has been booked very nicely, my only complaints are the two losses to Naomi. Otherwise, I think she’s been the best NXT Call up period. That may be allegorical, but shes pretty high up. That Said, Charlotte already gave her the rub on Charlotte’s way out the door on Raw. I don’t think lightning strikes twice.

Winner: Charlotte.

CB– I think Charlotte will be the last chance Smackdown Live has to get a win over RAW, depending on where each match is placed. After the moment they had on Smackdown Live with her winning, there’s no way Charlotte loses at Survivor Series. Bliss will have such a great angle having to explain herself to the woman’s locker room AND the fans.

Winner: Charlotte

6 Man Tag: The New Day vs The Shield

Beef– Shield. I love New Day, but this is the official Shield Reunion. How does it look if they lose, the first match out of the gate. Plus, I feel like they are lining them up to be dominant again, so they can give the rub to either Sanity or Undisputed. Plus, we HAVE to make Roman look good at the Big Four. Especially after he ate Lesnar’s pin at Summerslam. Time to get the Roman train back on the rails for the eventual showdown with Lesnar.

Winners: The Shield

CB– This is where I call Beef a mark and a cuck, but he’s right. It’s the Shield, they aren’t losing to The New Day. They aren’t losing to anyone. If Reigns was on Team RAW, then he would make the final pin to win the match. I like Roman. He puts on great matches, but lets call a spade a fucking spade here, ok? Roman is going to come out looking strong, likely with the pin being over Big E.

Winners: The Shield

5-on-5 Elimination Match: Team RAW vs Team Smackdown Live

CB– I like Team Raw here. The story has been told that Angle needs this to work. His livelihood depends on it. I love the dichotomy of team Raw: Two grizzled vets, two “young” Fresh Faces, and one monster. Take nothing away from Team Smackdown, but the message is clear, the old puts over the new. I think Joe taps Cena. I think Hunter gets Orton. I think Balor Gets Roode. I think miscommunication between Trips and Angle gets Trips beaten, probably by Roode before he gets beat. I think Nakamura beats Joe. Strowman takes out Nakamura, before being Tooken out by Kane. When it’s Balor and Angle vs Shane, I think Kevin Owens and Sami Zayne cost Shane. It’s too big of a stage not to have KO involved. I think Angle gets the pin. Having Balor survive puts a nice polish on him so he can lose to Lesnar at Rumble.

So Again, I have Joe beating Cena, HHH pinning Orton, Roode pinning Triple H, Balor pinning Roode, Nakamure beating Joe, Strowman being Nakamura, Strowman being Counted out, and Angle beats Shane after Kevin Owens involvement.

Winners: Team Raw. Survivors: Finn Balor and Kurt Angle

CB– Ok, THIS is where I call Beef a cuck. Yeah, there’s no doubt in my mind that Team RAW wins. I’m not going to guess on who beats who and who survives etc… I want to address why Beef is a cuck: Jason Jordan. To go through and explain who you think will beat who is a nice touch, but to say Triple H gets eliminated due to a miscue with Angle? No no no, Beef! The stage is set, the story is unfolding, and it’s going to happen at Survivor Series: Triple H took Jordan’s spot and Kurt Angle(His daddy) did NOTHING to defend or help Jordan.

Will Jordan screw all of Team RAW? I doubt it, but somewhere during the match, he’s going to beat the piss out of Kurt Angle and get him eliminated. He doesn’t even need to align with Triple H and Stephanie, that’s just bonus. Either way, this should be a great classic survivor series match. I hope we get to see Trips and Roode standing face to face in the ring!

Winners: Team RAW

Universal Champion: Brock Lesnar vs WWE World Champion: AJ Styles

Beef– I want to pick Styles so bad. Part of me actually believes he’ll win. Then I was zapped back to reality. No doubt AJ Makes a Heck of a showing, has the beast on the ropes, but Stupid Jinder costs him the match. Thus negating the true meaning of Survivor Series- Raw vs Smackdown. But hey, thats WWE Booking. Let’s make a big deal about Raw Vs Smackdown and have both main events be lost by Smackdown on Smackdown Interference.

Winner: Brock Lesnar.

CB– I think this will be a solid match. AJ Styles can’t do what Braun or Joe did to Lesnar, but he’s sure as hell going to be lightning quick and as long as he can keep the pace going, he’s going to have a real good chance. It’s non-title, this is the time to let Lesnar take a loss to THE BEST WRESTLER IN THE WORLD, and it not hurt him.  You know what? Screw it, I’m going against all odds:

Winner: AJ Styles

Beef– Raw goes 5-2.

Angle keeps his job. Jordan holds it against his father. Stephanie Apologies to Angle, they hit it off, Trips is Pissed, Angle vs HHH at Mania. Cena eliminates Joe from Rumble, faces him at Mania (and probably beats him, as he does all promising talent). Reigns beats Lesnar because Vince McMahon loves big sweaty men. Nakamura and Styles are robbed of a Wrestlemania Moment by Jinder winning the title again, and probably defending it against Nakamura. Owens gets his hands on Shane again at Mania.

Book it, Monkeys.
