In December of 2018, we reported that Dakota Kai suffered a leg injury at a live event in Green Bay, Wisconsin.
At the time, we could not get confirmation from WWE as to what the actual injury was. But now we know.
Well, earlier today, Dakota Kai confirmed that she will need surgery to repair a torn ACL and will do so today, January 17th, 2019.
She took to Twitter to confirm:

A typical ACL tear could keep Kai out for 6-9 months. We wish her a speedy recovery.
