NAC Agenda Shows Conor McGregor, Khabib Nurmagomedov, Jon Jones Hearings Set For Jan. 29

The future of three of the UFC’s most recognizable names are scheduled to meet with the Nevada Athletic Commision next Tuesday.

NAC has released their agenda for next Tuesday’s hearings, which include Conor McGregor, Khabib Nurmagomedov and Jon Jones. All three currently have potential infractions in regards to fighting in the state on Nevada.

McGregor and Nurmagomedov both will be meeting with the NAC in regards to their post-fight brawl that took place immediately following the conclusion of their fight at UFC 229 in Las Vegas at T-Mobile Area last October. After Nurmagomedov had won the fight via submission, he then proceeded to exit the Octagon and launched himself towards McGregor’s cornerman Dillon Danis. All the while, McGregor got into a physical exchange with Nurmagomedov’s cornerman Abubakar Nurmagomedov.

The UFC has yet to announce a future fight for both McGregor and Nurmagomedov until their hearings with the NAC have completed.

Jones is the current UFC light heavyweight champion, and he has his next title defense scheduled against Anthony Smith on March 2 in Las Vegas at T-Mobile Arena. Before then though, Jones was announced to have had beyond microscopic traces of oral Turinabol metabolite in his system in a pre-fight drug exam before his fight against Alexander Gustafsson last month. Once the finding was announced, the NAC would not approve Jones to fight in the state of Nevada, which UFC 232 was originally scheduled to take place in. The event was then moved to Anaheim, CA, as the California State Athletic Commission approved Jones to fight.

Though the plan is for Jones to defend his title against Smith at UFC 235 in March, the UFC has yet to officially announce the bout until Jones has his hearing with the NAC.
