More Payment Issues with TNA Wrestling

The Wrestling Observer is reporting that there are more ongoing pay issues in TNA Wrestling, as they have confirmed that production workers have not been paid for over two months now.

As of this past weekend, the production workers had not been paid for pay-per-view tapings that took place in February, and have not been paid since then. In fact, reports state that these production workers received paychecks that were approximately $1,000 short per worker when they were paid this month for the promotion’s tour of the United Kingdom, which took place back in January. It should also be noted that workers are supposed to be paid within 30 days, but the production workers received their pay approximately 70 days late.

To add even more fuel to the fire, the production workers later discovered that TNA Wrestling had been paying the in-ring talent for events that took place in March while the production workers had not yet been paid for February.

This is certainly not a new issue with TNA Wrestling, as pay issues were reported in 2014 that were much more significant than what is currently taking place. However, one anonymous TNA Wrestling employee has gone on record of stating that this is the third year in a row where late payments have become a major issue, as well as a morale killer.
