TNA World Championship contender Matt Hardy recently sent out a tweet that this Friday & Saturday could be the final independent wrestling appearances before moving to “the next stage of his career.” Here is the tweet:

Recently, Davey Richards & Eddie Edwards tweeted something similar about not accepting independent bookings after May 1st of this year (you can read that story by clicking here.) The Wolves are the current TNA Tag Team Champions & Matt Hardy is fully engaged in a TNA World Championship program.
There’s no telling whether these reports have anything to do with Matt Hardy & The Wolves leaving TNA or if TNA will no longer be allowing their contracted talent to accept independent bookings.
WWE has been bringing in talent on a semi-consistent basis due to the current expansion with the NXT brand and there have been strong rumors that they are going to continue to bolster their rosters.
We will keep you posted.
