A few months ago, it was reported that WWE Superstar Luke Harper had requested his release from the company. Shortly thereafter, he was used briefly in a storyline teaming with Erick Rowan to take on Daniel Bryan & Roman Reigns.
Now it looks like he is getting ready to use his independent wrestling persona in the future. PWInsider reported today that Harper has filed for the trademark to the name “Brodie Lee.” The reasons for the trademark are for entertainment services, specifically wrestling exhibits and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer.
Harper wrestled on the independent scene for years, frequenting many top indie companies at the time. He also had a run in Ring of Honor, CZW & Chikara.
